"If the God you believe in as an idea doesn’t start showing up in what happens to you in your own life, you have as much cause for concern as if the God you don’t believe in as an idea does start showing up. It is absolutely crucial, therefore, to keep in constant touch with what is going on in your own life’s story and to pay close attention to what is going on in the stories of others’ lives. If God is present anywhere, it is in those stories that God is present. If God is not present in those stories, then they are scarcely worth telling." ~ Frederick Buechner
You Can Make This!
Wouldn't you want to make this?
And this?
And this?
Happy creating!
I used to make my daughter's dresses when she was a little. It was so much fun although took some time to finish the projects. They were the one of kind dresses and I was so proud that I made them. I still keep them for sentimental value. Maybe hand to granddaughters some day? Love the colors of prints on the little girl's dress. Cute!
ReplyDeleteWow, you're my hero! I haven't attempted to make any clothing for my son yet (he's only 18 months old). I think making clothes for little girls sounds more fun, though.
DeleteYou should definitely keep the dresses you made to hand down!
