"If the God you believe in as an idea doesn’t start showing up in what happens to you in your own life, you have as much cause for concern as if the God you don’t believe in as an idea does start showing up. It is absolutely crucial, therefore, to keep in constant touch with what is going on in your own life’s story and to pay close attention to what is going on in the stories of others’ lives. If God is present anywhere, it is in those stories that God is present. If God is not present in those stories, then they are scarcely worth telling." ~ Frederick Buechner

Moisturizer-Infused Jeans

My husband just brought this article and its ludicrous contents to my attention.

These jeans are ridiculous.

Jeans in general are crazy-expensive to begin with ... I can't even imagine what they're charging for these.

Not to mention the skeevy feeling I get about sweat shops and child labor.

Why can't we all just accept aging as the natural part of life it is?

Especially in our nether regions.

  1. Amen! I refuse to buy into the need to be forever young and avoid growing old gracefully. Its part of life and we should just embrace it. Ridiculous!

  2. I heard on "Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me" that a designer in Italy has designed jeans that tweet your mood and location (apparently there's a panel in the jeans where you can control what is "tweeted" by your pants). Yes. It has come to this.
